The Opti Green Team is an after-school team for sailors that have “graduated” from summer learn-to-sail camps but have little to no racing knowledge. The program focuses on easing the transition from being a student to an athlete and becoming a lifelong sailor.
The Opti Champs team is a competitive race team for sailors with at least one year of experience competing. The program focuses on developing racing skills, strategy, and tactics and providing sailors opportunities to compete throughout the PNW.
New sailors should contact Coach Niki for information on how to join!

Practices run twice a week during spring, summer, and fall seasons.

Opti Green Sailors do attend regattas. Green Fleet regattas are low-key, fun-oriented events designed to help sailors develop a healthy relationship with the sport.
There are typically one or two competitions in the spring and fall seasons, with the majority of events held during summer.
