Documents & Waivers
Sailors and Parents must sign and submit a variety of forms each school year to participate on our Race Teams.
Forms are typically collected in Fall season, and are valid through the end of the following Summer season
If you join in the Spring, you will still need to submit all the appropriate forms

Code of Conduct
This is specifically for sailors to review and sign. Note certain breeches of the Code of Conduct (i.e. substance abuse) can lead to immediate expulsion.
Chaperone Policies/Guidelines
Driver’s Agreement
Generalized Rules & Expectations
Definitive rules and policies can be found for Chaperones in the Chaperone Policies and Guidelines document, and for Sailors in the Code of Conduct document.
Coaches are in charge at regattas, parents need to support coaches by making sure sailors are healthy, prepared, and have needs like food, warm drinks, etc met. Please refrain from "coaching" your or other sailors. Always let the coach know of any issues, especially but not limited to, safety, well being, etc. if it appears the Coach is not aware.
At least 1 chaperone needs to be present on site at regattas to assist Coach. Chaperones, not the Coach, need to coordinate this.
Coaches are NOT responsible for sailors post-racing activities even if they are still present. Chaperones are.
Coaches are NOT responsible for dictating Chaperone conduct, Chaperones need to hold themselves and each other to high, and acceptable standards for chaperoning youth. However, never hesitate to inform the Coach of any issue chaperone/sailor/or otherwise.
Never be alone with a sailor that is not yours. Always use the buddy system.
If you are carpooling to a regatta you are a chaperone.
If your sailor is at a regatta (and you are not attending) and has behavioral or misconduct issues you may be asked to come collect your sailor at your time and expense.
Review the Code of Conduct with your sailor!
